if i want to delete a file like skype,norton etc. what to do?????

- re-install windows

- remove from add or remove programs

- keep it hidden and you will be satisfied

You can do this from add/remove programs but to remove norton you will need to install the norton removal tool http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsg...

After you've uninstalled I'd install http://ccleaner.com and run the registry scan on this to remove anything that's left behind in the registry from uninstalled programs. Very easy to use and takes seconds.

They are not files, they are called softwares (or applicatoins or programs).  To uninstiall (delete) these programs: Open Control Panel > Click on Add or Remove Programs > Click on the program you want to uninstall and Click on Remove button.

OR

For most of the applications, uninstall shortcut will be available in All Programs:

All Programs > click on the application you want to uninstall > select the Uninstall (or Unwise or Remove).

Select your product version and follow on screen instructions.

To remove other items, including those without an installer:

Use RevoUninstaller:

It's faster and better than add / remove applet.

When you run it highlight the item then select uninstall in next window select Advanced and click Next, follow prompts when uninstalled it will scan registry and drive for leftover files / folders, tick ONLY the bold items and follow prompts.
