How to delete unwanted window xp updates ?

I'm using window XP SP2 , the automatic update center has downloaded more than 24 updates, none of them could be installed , so i want to delete them , but I don't know where to find them , where the automatic update usually download updates , I've looked everywhere on my disk, but I couldn't find them, I'm not sure , I'm afraid to delete something important . would you help me please?

  1. go to control panel then add or remove programs then delete any updates you want

You won't be able to find them, the best way to get rid of them would be to goto the updates page and tick all of the boxes of the ones that failed and click "hide update" this will stop them from showing up, as far as I know if updates failed to install then they will be deleted upon restart.

  3. they don't need to be deleted. They're in temp files that if not used get deleted. so unless they're installed, which you said they are not, then they will be deleted when the temp files get old enough. Or you can get CCleaner and clean the temp files yourself
