How to delete windows movie maker, because it doesn't has a uninstall icon?

I want to re-install it, but I need to delete it from my PC first, because if I just re-install it it doesn't fix the problem.

My windows movie maker shuts itself down when I start editing my videos. It shows like a debugger error or something and I really don't know how to fix it. Sure, I could also just download another editing software, but the problem is I don't know any software that would be full version and for free and not a trial version.

  3. I was wondering about your answer as well.

    I decided to Google it.

    This is what wikiHow says,

    1. Open Notepad.exe

    2. Copy the following into it:

    @echo off

    del "%SystemRoot%\system32\dllcache\*wmm*.dl...

    del "%SystemRoot%\system32\dllcache\moviemk....

    del "%ProgramFiles%\Movie Maker\*.*"

    rmdir /s "%ProgramFiles%\Movie Maker"

    pause

    3. save it as abc.bat

    4. restart your computer in safe mode

    5. run abc.bat

    6. when prompted whether to delete, type "y"

    7. when finished restart computer, thats it

Other people are having problems as well.  It is very difficult to remove, supposedly, and sometimes Windows won't even let you re-install it.

    Good luck!
