Question:

How to depoof/defrizz your hair...?

I have really really straight hair and its not generally frizzy.

It's only frizzy and poofy when I get out of the shower and I let it dry.

It can even be impossible to brush and put up

in a simple ponytail.

But like the day after its perfectly fine.

Any ideas on products to use after I get out of the shower so I don't have to wait in till the next day?

  1. Sometimes i defriz my hair by spraying a little bit of water on it! :)

  2. Wash it and condition. After that, use a hair straightener.

  3. Well Make sure you use conditioner in the shower and when you get out blow dry your hair.  And If it gets inposible to brush out use V05 detangle and shine.  It works really well.  Some times I use that when I get out of the shower and then let it dry and my hair turns out non poofy and frizzy.

  4. Silk drops.. you can get at any REGIS salon or beauty store just ask someone working there. They work great and you only use a small amount and it smells awesome too.

  5. get a hair straightner cuz i have hair just like that except even on the next day it wont be fine.

  6. My hair does that too sometimes when it air dries. It just gets all poofy at the top. I recommend blow drying your hair with a round brush or a wide tooth comb right after you come out of the shower. Also, do NOT wash your hair everyday.

For frizz/puffiness (all available at a drugstore) you can try:

Dove Straight & Soft Styling Cream

Dove Frizz Control Therapy Taming Cream with repairing serum

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum

Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Smoothing Cream

  7. I used to have this problem to and I found out that the detergent in shampoo can strip to much of your hairs natural oils.  I switched to WEN by Chaz Den and no longer have that problem.  The cleansing conditioner has no detergent at all and improves your hair each time you use it.  It can even be used as a leave in conditioner.
