  1. There is no site that can help you with that, BUT what you can do is this:

    1. List every ride that will be in your park

    2. List every Attraction (food, games, shows) that will be in the park

    3. Put together a park map and locations for everything

    4. List the number of Employees that your park will have

    5. List all open and closed dates based on weather

    6. Any other business like stuff that you might want to consider.

The only tough part of this will be employees. I can say for every 15 Rides you will want roughly 60 Ride Operators, and 15 Mechanics. I work at my local theme park in Colorado, and that is roughly what they have. You will want 3 Games people for every one game, and something like 6 for every food stand. Entertainment is up to you depending on show size.

As for designing rides you might want to try a program called No Limits, its great for designing roller coasters with insane detail.

Layouts of coasters are in the following categories:

Out and Back: Does as said, coaster follows a straight pattern, loops around and comes back. Exp: Nitro Six Flags Great Adventure NJ

Twister: Mixed layout with no defined layout. Exp: Twister II, Elitch Gardens CO

Cyclone: Like a twister layout, but with defined layouts. Exp: Cyclone, Coney Island NY

Terrain: Coaster hugs the ground Exp: The Beast Kings Island OH

Best site to find more information on coasters is http://www.rcdb.com/

Hope this information helps, but this is about as far as you will go with any amusement park designing project. If your teacher wants more then tell them to bite me =P

  2. roller coaster tycoon 2 not 1 or 3

    BUT 2!!!

ebay is were u can can models

  3. Ultimate Ride is a way better and more in-depth program for designing roller coasters than Rollercoaster Tycoon.  It won't let you design anything other than coasters, but you have access to way more ride elements and environment themes than you do with Rollercoaster Tycoon.

  4. other then video games like roller coaster tycoon there are no programs that could help you. All I can say is visit different amusement parks online sites you can see the maps of there parks and get ride ideas at the same time.   Start with the bigger parks like disney and universal  then parks like sea world, bush gardens, any of the six flag parks, cedar point , kings island, coney island, Knotts Berry farm, Canadas Wonderland, Hersehy park
