I have a callaway war bird 9° driver. The shaft is a new Apache Micro 58 shaft. From the top of the grip to the point it connects to the driver head it measures 43 inches. Is this a womans club or a mans. Also how do you determine how to measure it. Do you measure it like I stated above, or do you measure it from the top of the grip to the bottom of the club head?

Any help would be appreciated.

  1. men clubs are longer

  2. This is a mans club. It appears to be at least a plus 2 inches size (over a standard 45 inch graphite shafted driver.)

The standard length steel shafted driver for men is 43 inches and the standard length graphite shafted driver is  44 inches or sometimes 45 inches..

The measurement is from the top of the grip to the bottom of the club head - stand the club upright and measure down the back of the club from the top of the grip to where the club meets the ground.

Normally the grip is 11 inches long and the naked shaft down to the collar is 28 inches long - on a 43 inch driver.
