  1. whilst our liver and kidney "should" do their job properly and cleanse themselves, most of us are overburdening our systems with too many toxins for them to cope adequately.

there's lots of good advice here, just promise you don't to juice fasting if you go down the detox path. your body needs food and supplements.

    good luck

  2. the best possible thing you can ever use to cleanse your body is sugar free Cranberry Juice. drink 1-2 of the large jugs/day! yes it seems like a lot, but if you can do this for 1 month, you will feel incredible. your kidneys will love you and it will cleanse your entire system of everything including the nicotine, you will notice dramatic improvement in 2 days! anyhow vinegar tastes horrid, and is extremely hard on your kidneys. good luck to you, and congratulations on quiting smoking! in 2 weeks, you should have no more withdrawals from quitting cold turkey. ^^

  3. prob ment apple cider vinegar..............

just lots of water and cardio..sweat it out..

Take vitamens, one a day or centrun.............

  4. Drinking water will help to detox, and taking some supplements that work as cleansers may help as well. Specifically, Apple Cider Vinegar, Green Tea (decaffeinated), Chlorophyll (fantastic cleanser), and even good amounts of fiber and water helps some people (although it's not very comfortable for the lower level of detoxification you get).

  5. You DON'T NEED to "detox" your body.  Your liver and kidneys handle this for you quite well on their own.  All these home remedies are quite useless and do not achieve anything that wouldn't have happened anyway.  Nicotine will be gone in just a day or two without you doing anything at all.  Forget the nonsense, just keep away from the cigs and you will not need anything else.

"most of us are overburdening our systems with too many toxins for them to cope adequately."    BALONEY.  This is just the sort of nonsense that the "detox" scammers WANT you to believe.  But it's not true.  Not at all.

  6. lots of water, yogi detox teas and i used oxy powder when i quit smoking a few years ago.

  7. If your looking for a simple and mild clease, continue to drink water and water only...its what your body wants!  Also, increase your fiber intake in your diet.  This will help to pull out toxins from your colon which is an important frist step in cleansing.  Psyllium is a great natural fiber supplement, but even metamucil will work.   (one more possible bennifit:  if you on birth control, this extra fiber will also pull out excess estrogen with is imparative for womens health)  Berries are great for cleansing...try eating just berries (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries) for breakfast with water.  They also contain good amounts of Vitamin C which your body is probably lacking if you have been smoking for some time. 4000 chemical agent's and 60 carcinogens are in cigarette smoke, and effect every organ in our bodies.  With that said, it is good to cleanse the whole body.  I would recoment starting with the liver as it very much effected by all of the chemicals put into the body by smoking.  Try this liver tonic :

    "Oregon Grape Root-1Part

Wild Yam Root - 1 Part

    Dandelion Root, raw 1part

    Licorice 1/4 part (demulcent)"

-The Way of Herbs, Michael Tierra

Simmer the herbs in distilled water (three ounces of herbs in one quart of water) for forty five minutes,  Refrigerate.  Take two tablespoons, three or four times a day between meals.  Do not all sweetening.  If sweetness is needed increase the licorice content slightly

That is just a start...i could go on all day :) if your interested in deeper more thorough cleansing feel free to e-mail me

And props for quitting!  I know first hand how hard it is!  You will thank yourself later!

and one more thing...you may want to try this soup recipie i found
