How to develop a p2p file sharing s/w?

Question

i need 2 know,wht r the prerequisites n technical know how dat i need to hve!!!actually me n my friends want to create a pool n share files with each other!!!v live in far separated locations!!i dont hve a large upload or download limit,so i cant use data sharing sites like rapidshare n all!!!mailing has limited attachment size!!!

And i want to make it as my project!!!plz suggest something

just connect to the same hubs, share the files in question, make your friends Favorites users,right click on their names, click Get file list and download what you want directly from their pc.

Well, you dont need to.

Just use bittorrent and set up your own private tracker that your friends will only use.
