How to develop a portfolio? Clueless!!!?

i want to apply to

The new school (eugene lang)

Pratt

Umass boston

The art institute of chicago

Suffolk

and

Champlain College

all for Creative writing...some require a writing portfolio of about ten pieces, and i intend to send it in to all of them...

my question: any advice or resources you'd suggest to me for learning how to make a portfolio? Because i have absolutely no idea and i need to start working.

So far i have some poetry, that's about it...

Run a search for writing portfolio

There are several articles there that may be of help to you.  It seems there are a variety of ways to accomplish this.  You may also want to check the website for the individual colleges.  Some may want something different than what another college wants in a portfolio.

why dont u try to google some ideas?? it would probably be more of a tutorial experience for you and you might even get some really creative ideas to write about.
