  1. self-disclosure (by sharing information, we become more intimate with other people and our interpersonal relationship is strengthened) is the key to communications.

you need to become more comfortable with yourself....even on a small scale and your communication and interpersonal skills will improve.

    good luck.

  2. always try to smile

  3. I totally disagree with V

Most people are not interested in anything other than themselves, Be a good listener and  and you will be welcome everywhere :)

  4. Volunteer Work! Go out and volunteer anyplace that is in need of people. You will learn new skills without the pressure of "being fired" you will meet new people/friends which will boost your self confidence level, and you will feel better about yourself because you are helping someone else out. It also looks good on a resume and adds experiences and skills.

  5. Most people go around with a sign on their head, and the sign says this:

    MAKE ME FEEL IMPORTANT!

Do that - i.e. make them feel important when you're talking to them - and your interpersonal skills will improve automatically.

    :-)
