im trying to dial a number in paris france, i try to dial the number that shows up on my phone but it doesnt work?? please help? it starts with 331 do i need to add anything plz help?

011  33  1 and the number

011 international calling out number for USA and Canada

33 is France's country code

1 is Paris  and Paris region  area code

Then the number

If you are calling  from a land line to a cell phone

USA

011 33 and the cell phone number

In Europe

From a land line  to land line

00 is the international calling out prefix

33 France  country code

1 paris  area code

and the number

00331 and the number

If you are calling from a cellphone to a land line from the USA

you must dail like this

+ (represents the 011 number)

+(represents the 00 number)

You must have a french number with 10 numbers starting by 0.

So you dial 0033 and the number without the 0.

Simple.
