Sorry don`t se the point, but it used to be 174 to make your own phone ring, may have chaged since digital.

In the U.K. there used to be different ringback numbers in different places and at different times: 174, 1267 etc.

For simple ringback today, dial 17070 then choose option 1.  (If your number is set to withhold by default you will need to release it with 1470 first.)

In North America the ringback codes are still very much dependent upon area and subject to change.

no!! can't do it no more, since the digital age now...! in the old day yes, you could do lots of fun stuff!! but them days are over....

it is called Ring Back and every telco uses different codes and some use a different code between central offices.
