How to dial uk landline from a phone?

suppose my phone number is 0207 336 2786

i think the international code is +44 - how should I write the number?

If your are forming from a landline you dial:

00442073362786

If you're dialling from a mobile you can replace 00 with +

If you are writing the number down on say a business card or letterhead you would put it down as [phone], by doing that, it means that people within the UK will have the correct number  with the 0207 code and for people outwith the UK they have the country code and code but the number dialled misses out the zero.
