  1. Sulphuric acid 98 % contains 98 g of active substance (H2SO4) in 100 g of total solution.

The molar mass of H2SO4 is 98 g/mol. So, if you take 10 g of the original acid (9,8 g) you have 0,1 mol. If you take 5 g you have 0,05 moles which is equivalent to 0,1 val (2 Hs at the acit to react with).

The 5 g are weighted into a 1000 ml measuring flask and filled to the mark with H2O at 20°C. Be careful, adding H2O to concentrated H2SO4 exhibits a strong evolution of heat. So better put 500 ml into the flask first and add the 5 g of acid slowly under stirring. Than add up to 1000 ml.
