Ok, so I accidently spilled flammable nail polish remover on my brothers carpet, and I was wondering if I should pour water onto the spot where it was spilled to reduce flammability if a fire started ? thanks ! :]

  1. try water and salt (or you could just light it)

  2. can you rent a carpet cleaner? Keep flames away from it in the meantime. I would add water to it what is water going to hurt. Dry it up with a towel afterwards.

  4. haha soak it up with a towel then leave it unless you poured 10 bottles on it or your brother is a smoker

but it will likely take some color out of your carpet

  5. just flush it out with many rounds of water, and absorb it back up with a paper towel or otherwise a rag of some sort

  6. It will evoperate in about 1 hour, just don't smoke around it.

    Good Luck
