  1. My washer's instruction book suggests adding a 2 litre bottle of white vinegar to the water and letting it run through an ordinary wash cycle(without clothes of course!)

  2. run it with no clothes and add white vinegar to it as well.  The acid in the vinegar will help to cut grease. Then run plain water to clean out the vinegar.

  3. Karen S is right. Run towels, sheets through with bleach.....then the baby clothes. Waste not, want not.

  4. Just run a load or two of white towels or sheets in hotwater with bleach before hand. They won't be so nasty that you wouldn't wash your baby's clothes afterward and you won't be wasting precious resources - electric & water needlessly.

  5. Just fill the washer with hot water then add bleach to the water.Wait a few minutes the run the washer through the final spin cycle to drain the wash tub.

  6. try lysol in the brown bottle that's what its for disinfecting things
