How to dispute a no show fee from doctor's office?

I was visited the same OB / GYN doctor for past 5 years and receive a "no show fee" of the missed appointment last week surprisingly.

I mean I understand it is the way to keep patients keep their schedule but should they inform patients such a fee policy when they book the appointment?

I feel quite upset to get such fee on my recent bill and not intend to pay it.

Any suggestion?

Just tell them to kiss off and get yourself another doctor
