  1. This will sound familiar/repetitive, but here we go:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You will have to judge for yourself when you look at art. It really depends on your values.

The best art is that created by yourself.

  2. Not much difference,, what nobody understand are classified as art nowadays,,,,,,lol (I am starring you for this Q)

  3. All  so called    art  by  famous personalities  thou it is

rubbish, called  Art. and all  that  Art  made by unknown  artist

who are not so famous  are called rubbish.

  4. If it looks like rubbish to you, it's rubbish. (To you.)

If it catches your attention and imagination, if it makes you think or moves you, then it's art. (To you.)

  5. Art is what gives you either an emotional or intellectual reaction. This can be a positive or negative vibe.

Art has nothing to do with the technical merit, unless the technical merit is so great that it, in itself, evokes reaction.

Many of the world's greatest works of art were typically scorned in their day.

I've seen many "living room ocean paintings" that are competely forgetable. In my view, that doesn't rise to the level of art.

  6. There have always been artists and works of art that have been controversial.  Even some of the painters we now consider as icons were often misunderstood during their own lifetimes.  Whether we understand or appreciate a particular artist or piece doesn't matter.  If an artist has constructed/painted/written/acted.... a piece to relate their perception or emotion, then they have created their own art.  We don't have to like it.  In fact, no one has to like it.  That doesn't change what it is.
