Question:

How to do I counteract Batsblood ink?

I was working on a protection spell, writing the name of the person that is repeatedly harming me on parchment paper with Bats Blood Ink. Anyway, a bit got on my fingers. How can I counteract that? I read some where that it could be dangerous if it touches the skin of the person placing the spell. It was a spell for protection and my intention is not to harm the person. Does this make a difference? I just want to know how to remove and counter the effect of getting this stuff on my hand.

  1. Scrub your fingers with sea salt mixed with a couple of drops of lavender oil, and rinse them thoroughly under running water.

You should also smudge the area in which the spell was performed, with sage.

If your intent was not to harm, that should be enough.

  2. Wash your hands with soap and water, its' just a vegetable ink.

And for the record...you're a fool if you think you can cast spells.
