How to do ? (Makeup like Selena) pics included!

I just found out today in my class I got the role of Selena !!

My college is performing a tribute and I got the lead :D I'm so honored

and excited but I was curious how should I do my makeup because I decided I wanted to do it myself for the role ?? I know she wore red on the lips alot but I dont know what to do with the eyes .

  1. When wearing such a shocking lip you want to keep everything else natural or their will be too much going on. So for your lipstick you need something red or orange.. but its what looks good on YOU not Selena. Or it will look just really bad and fake.

    Eyes:

    Use a eyeshadow close to your skin tone and apply all over your lid. Then use a darker but still natural eyeshadow in your crease and blend over your lid area. Lastly, highlight under your brow bones and tear ducts. I suggest using a vanilla-y. It makes your eyes pop.

    Face:

    Use your regular foundation liquid or powder.. then apply a bronzer and/or blush to the apples of your cheeks sweeping it to your temples. Then add some blush or whatever you choose to use on your chin and t zone... it gives you a natural glow.

  3. black eyeliner, light brown eyeshadow on the eyelid and put darker brown eyeshadow on the crease of your eyelid and a really light, tan/creamy eyeshadow under your eyebrows. not too shimmery. and one coat of black mascara!

  4. - red lipstick with a gloss on top for shine

    -cover up/ base (such as bare minerals.)

    -a little bit of pink blush on the upper part of the cheek only.

    -black eyeliner and mascara

    -red eyeshadow on the lower part of your eyelid then a shimmery gold eyeshadow almost up to your brow.
