  1. Do you remember what the term "regular" means?

    If the term is a "regular quadrilateral" it is a square.

    The regular means that all the sides are equal...or in other terms, shaped like those Fisher Price toys.

    If you can't figure after that, set the 8x-6=4x+22

    subtract 4x from both sides (to isolate the variables from the whole numbers), and then add 6 (because 6 is a negative) to both sides.

    You end up with 4x=28

    Divide both sides by 4.

    Answer is x=7

  2. OK, a regular quadrilateral is a square, so the sides are the same length, so

    8x-6 is the same as 4x+22

    so solve it as an equation:

    8x-6=4x+22

    8x-4x=22+6

    4x=28

    x=28/4

    x=7

    so the answer is 7foot

    if you didn't follow that post again and I will explain in more detail

    Good luck
