  1. practice doing handstands until you can hold them by yourself for at least 3 seconds. Learn how to do your splits, at least to an 75-85° angle. Practice to do a bridge with your feet as close as possible (not together) and your hands are close to your feet as possible (not toegether either). Practice leaning back when on bridge to get the sensation of the momentum in your shoulders. Practice also reaching up with your dominant leg while on bridge, trying to lift it as high as possible. Finally, practice doing the kickover by putting your feet in matts or high surfaces and your hands directly on the floor. Then start decreasing the size of the support of your feet until you can finally do it on the direct floor. Always look for the sensation you felt when leaning back on your shoulders while on bridge when you are kicking over, and keep your toes pointed. You can also do abs and leg exercises and arm exercises to build up strenght before you even try it. But most importantly, when you kick up, there's no going back, cause if you try going back, you'll most likely fall, so look forward to getting your shoulders past your hands, kick as hard as you can, get the momentum, and don't look back!
