How to do a backhanspring and some drills for them?

i would really like to know how to do a bhs and also some tips

  1. This is a drill.

    Make sure your bed is high enough for this.

    Swing your hands back and jump back onto your bed to get used to the feeling of a BHS. Do this a lot.


  2. im actually a reeeeally good tumbler not to be conseded but i almost have my full . how far are you in your backhandspring? because i can probably help

  3. Okay well first you need to have strong legs and strong steady arms.  

    To get yyour legs stronger try doing squat jumps, tuck jumps on a trampoline and run.  For your arms (you probably dont have acess to a gym) do simple things like hold hand stand against a wall for 30 seconds or push ups.  

    Itd be best to have pretty stretched out legs so beforeyou start practiceing always stretch out your legs =]

    Steps....

    1. Swing arms upward

    2. While bringing your arms up go into a position as if you were about to sit in a chair

    3. Swing arms up && at the same time jump back

    (When you jump baack think 'explode' to help you remember to push off with all your energy. Andd dont jump just up or just back it has to be both.

    4. Go into a back bend position when you jump and swing your legs over.

    *NOTE* This is all very fast motion
