Everytime I jump up and slide my right foot down(I'm right footed), the board just slams back down onto the ground.

So, my question is how can I do a kickflip successfully?

  1. Your mistake is easily found in your question! DO NOT slide your foot down to flip the board , you have to slide your foot more in a straight motion. Sliding your foot down will make it go downwards faster and make the board land in back of you instead of under you. If you still have problems try landing on the back of your board with both your feet first, thats how I learnt my kickflips!!!

    Good luck dude!!!!

  2. ok, to kickflip, first set your feet up on the board, put your front foot a little bit behind the front bolts and like have it half way on the board, and put your other foot in the middle of the tail ready to pop, then your going to pop the board and flick your front foot up and off to the side, so your board should rotate all the way around, wait for the grip tape to come around, and then you catch it with your back foot at the bolts and land it.

i think that makes sense..? lol

sorry i kinda suck at explaining stuff.

    anyway..hope that helps
