  1. I'm not sure that you could do it on your own, but if you have a friend who is willing to help you can do it.  My mother pierced my ears, and several other people's.  You will need to numb your ear lobe first.  Either by freezing it with an ice cube, or pinching it between a spring-loaded clothespin.  Then, using a large sewing needle, and your ear lobe placed with a bar of soap behind it, pierce the ear. pulling the needle all the way through.  Immediately put in an earring.  You will need to sponge the area, with the earring still in, with alcohol on a cotton ball.  Do this several times a day, for a couple of weeks.  Be sure to twist the earring around in the piercing hole many times a day, to help in the healing.  It will still hurt to do it yourself, but it can be done, and quite successfully!

  2. if you want, poke a hole using a needle

  3. kiddo you cant spell sewing, please dont try to stab a hole in your self...

pay the 20 bucks and get someone elce to do it.

ps. If you do end up doing it yourself, please dont use the d**n earing instead of the needle like someone suggested, yes you wont have the pain of taking the needle out and putting the earing in but blunt force trauma isnt a good thing...(y)

  4. Don't do it. It's risky and if you do it yourself (especially with a sewing needle), the chances for infection is increased dramatically.

You don't see a professional piercer using a sewing needle! Get it done my someone who knows what they're doing, it's safer.

  5. Don't do that...you will regret it and it will get infected and your ear will swell up!!! =S

  6. I would never recommend doing this. Do not ever try to get your ear pierced by yourself or one of your friends unless you are working with a professional in their own work area. Self-piercing or having your friend do it will most likely lead to infection and irritation on your part. I recommend seeing a professional to do it.

  7. Don't go spend 15 dollars and have it done safely.

  8. well u could do it but its probably gonna get infected and it will hurt much more because its not fast and profesional...u can get them done free at some places! but if u are going to, then make sure u disinfect the needle with alchohol and put it under fire(which kills the bactiria).

  9. my answer is dont even try.

because if you hit a nerve in your ear it will hurt really bad for a week and be soar for about a month or more.

  10. That sounds really stupid. Just go to Claire's. I just got my lobes pierced again (second), and it was only $50 for the piercing, earrings, and antiseptic. Sure, I have to live with cubic zirconias for a while, but I'll live =]

    I hope this helps!

  11. you shouldnt do it yourself it can get infected go to like claires and get it done

  12. a piece of ice to numb area and a sterile needle

  13. bad idea...

    get it done proffessionally

    to avoid an infection

  14. get isopropyl alcohol, and sterilize everything. Then with a sowing needle push hard against your ear. I've done it before, twice.

  15. my frend did it since her dad wont let her get a second piercing. she told me that she iced her ear until it was completely numb then she poked the earring through righ away. dont dawdle and stall halfway cuz that migh tmake it hurt more. but it didnt hurt for her after her ear was completely numb by the cold.

  16. dont do it. it s more likely to get infected.

  17. earpiercer.com

  18. Don't use ice on your ear, yes this will make it numb, but it will also make your ear hard, and will make it harder for the needle to go through and that will just make it hurt more...

Clean the pin, needle, ear, and earring with rubbing alcohol before using.

Sterilize the pin or needle with an open flame (like a match or a lighter).

Keep in for at least 4 to 6 weeks before changing.

Have something nearby to clean up any blood from the piercing.

Clean it every day with a salt water solution until fully healed (approximately 6 weeks). You can also use rubbing alcohol (at least 70%) to clean it.

Measure where you want your piercings before you pierce! (Remember the old saying 'Measure twice, cut once'? Definitely applies here!) There is nothing more frustrating than to finish piercing only to notice one/both of your piercings is/are crooked!

If you have ever had your ears pierced with a piercing gun, the earring used to pierce your ear will also work instead of a needle because of the sharpness. This reduces the overall pain, as you only have to stick something sharp in once. Be sure to sterilize the earring the same way you would a needle.

    :)

  19. if your not kidding please don't do it ,it could cause a serious infection

which could badly damage your ears don't play around with your health why not have it done professionally its much more safer,

its not hygenic to do it yourself if the needle has even a little bit of dirt on it your ear could swell up is it worth the risk!

  20. dont do it by urself!

pray for the anser and it will come

  21. Do not do this. It is dangerous and will likely result in infection. Go to a tattoo/ piercing place and have a professional pierce your ears!

  22. i think its best to go do it somewhere where they do it in a sterilised inviorment, but if you really want to do it use some ice to make the skin dead and use a needle that is sealed if you dont have one take the needle you want to use and soak it in alcohol (not the kind you drink) the medical one.

  23. dont use a needle!!

    use the earing it self

oh and use lemon and ice to stop the pain while piercing

  24. I dont really know. My best friends sister did it, and she was fine.  Her mom was pissed, lol. But it looked like her professionally pierced holes. I think she did it similar to how you plan on doing it.  But i suggest using extra strong orajel on your lobe.  It actually numbs you a bit. It'll make it less painful.

  25. Numb your ear with some ice, keep the ice behind it while you pierce it, and maybe keep some cotton wool nearby incase it bleeds. I know people that have done this many times and it's never gone wrong or got infected.
