How to do a wheelie on my Yz 80?

i have a 1985 yz 80 bored out to a 125 have a lightened flywheel and all after market suspention dg silencer and a shot of nos small but every time i get in a wheelie i snap power band the the big flips over on my and i maybe done it 30 or 40 times on the road i think i might not even have skin left on my butt but anyways i just cant get that bike to stay in a wheelie i'm doin them in 4th gear and sittin on the gas tank that bike got ballz i was think to maybe get an extended swing arm so its hard to get it up but i wont tip over as easy

  1. adjust your suspention so it wont lift so easy.


  2. if you tap the rear brake it will send your front will down a bit. you got to find that sweet spot, ease up on the gas once your up there.have fun out there.

  3. you should've first mastered getting the wheel up without having your bike go over backwards.... then you move onto balance.

  4. Well first of all... how much bigger than the bike are you? Because if you fit the bike well that yeah I would listen to the first guy. But if you are a lot bigger than the bike... then I think that it might be time to get a new bike. Hope this helps...
