  4. muitication?

  5. Hershey has a multiplication book (i used this w/ my daughter) that shows what it means to multiply something. Start small. This should be fun so don't stress - otherwise they will block it out and not absorb anything. Also there are songs about multiplication for children.

  6. First, you should learn the multiplication that's the easiest way.

Second for example say 2 times 2 which equals 4. That's because 2 into the second power. If it's 2 times 3, it will be 6 because its 2 plus 2 plus 2.

In other words, 2 to the second power.

  7. umm maybe you should ask how to do spelling for a 2nd grader...

  8. learn to spell it right!

You take out a TON of pennies.... and you make groups and add the groups, showing how its multiplication.... Then to reinforce the teaching, you allow him/her to keep the pennies on a right answer!

  9. "muitication" is that like when a drunken rabbi removes f******n?  lol.  Nobody will probably get that...

IF you mean "multiplication", a simple tool would be to use a multiplication table, it will help them to visualize the process.

I'm a big fan of manipulatives, for a second grader use things they like, cheerios and or M&M's.  As a reward they get to eat one when they get the answer correctly.  lay out 2 M&M's and 3 M&M's, their answer should be 6 M&M's.  2 X 3=6.  etc.

At this age they need to "see" and "feel" the process.  Food works great as it adds another sensory experience "taste" and doubles as a reward.  Make it fun for them and don't entertain any negativity or resistance to learning the process (which is normal at that age).  Instead focus on making math fun and reinforcing how intelligent they are.  A willingness to learn and confidence in learning the material is your first obstacle at that age.

  10. mui dont get ur question and its multiplication

  11. First, you need to let us know if you are an adult or a child. If you are a child, then as a second grader you are to young to be on here as the age limit is 13 or older.
