How to do prints with methylated spirits?

Im doing a project in art, and heard that it is possible to print text off the computer then transfer it onto another page using methylated spirits. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

it is actually using terpentine...

there is a brand with a gum leaf on the bottle, which i used to do this..

Yes you can use turps! Put your print out face down on to the surface you want the print to be transfered to. Take a small amout of turps and paint it on to the wrong side. It will cause the paper to become a little transparent which is what you want. Then using the end of the paint brush or a pencil, Apply pressure to the paper, like you're scribbling all over it. Et Voila!

If you want to transfer text make sure its the wrong way around (like a mirror image).
