How to do side partings in hair?

Okay, so I would really like to have a straight line parting, but every time I do, it comes out a bit zig-zaggy. I would really like this side parting... http://cm1.dotspotter.com/media/0/23/23/emma_watson10_468bafc7364c1.0.0.0x0.432x650.jpeg

So, does anyone know how to do this? It would be nice if you could include what hair brushes to use, if I should style it while my hair is wet or when it's dry etc...

  1. Try wikihow.com. It has all the articles and help you need. BTW, Emma can look pretty ugly at times.

  2. I you want it to be like that all the time. Then i would start now :

    1. Now, get a comb, go to the mirror and comb your hair over to the side you want.

    2. Keep a clip in to keep it there, you will need to train it over.

    3. After you wash your hair, comb in the parting and it should    eventually train over.

    good luck x

  3. I acctually find it harder when my hair is wet, i use a normal thin flat brush but combs are more precise

  4. 1. Get your hair wet (makes this easier)

    2. Brush all of your hair straight back.

    3. Use a fine stick/ comb to make the parting, (on the side)

    4. Brush your hair to suit the style you want.

  5. Just use something straight and thing (like a pencil or chopstick).

  6. Just use a pencil or summi straight

    & do it wen wet

  7. you should use a comb, and just mess about a bit till you get it right, maybe best when hair is damp, i dunno, hairspray outta keep it in place though

  8. Just take a thin comb and pick the spot you want the parting to begin and just make a line down that spot. Then try making it perfect by making sure all the hair are on the right side. If you do this when your hair is dry then try using hairspray to keep it in place. If you do this when your hair is damp then it's easier and tends to stay side parted when dried.

  9. I find it easier to do my parting when my hair's wet. I use a thin comb too

  10. use a fine comb when your hair is wet and do it by bringin all yourhair over your face then parting it and use a litle wax to keep the style in place
