I have to draw a sphere of influence map to show my car taxes results for coursework. The results are just a tally chart and looks something like this:

Bristol - II

Cheltenham - IIII

how would i draw my results in a sphere of influence map?

  1. I am unsure I understand your question, but assuming that whatever you are measuring happens more in Cheltenham than Bristol, initially I would represent that by a proportional dot on a map.

A sphere of influence (SOI) is an area over which there is an indirect influence. In your case taxes (or use of taxes by government). You could make a map which represents the two cities you mention as polygons (the city boundaries - or governmental jurisdiction). The areas shown within the city limits represent your SOI. You could color code them based on the strenght of that influence as measured in your tally chart.

  2. This is geography.  Take your question to homework.
