How to do system restore through task manager ? Give the full procedure.?

Frozen desktop. No icons. No start menu.Can only access task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+del . Want to do system restore. Can do it only through task manager. Please tell me how to.

try going to flie and run and typing in explorer.exe That might make it a bit easier to do a system restore.

in task manager enter file menu> new task(run)

then in the run windows type restore and click run.

you will see a new windows which has the program named RSTRUI.EXE just double click on it and you are started with system restore
