How to do this in Photoshop cs3?

Ok first how do you make your text diagnol.

All I can have is horizontal and vertical text..

And how do I make my text look like its blended into the background, but I can still see the text.

How am i supposed to use gradients when they are all more than one color and in those examples there is only one?

And what font is used in all those avatars I showed you before.

Everyone uses that font on there animated avatars but I cant find it anywhere.

!st one go into EDIT- TRANSFORM-Choose one from there
