  1. i don't know how tall your ceilings are-mine are like 9ft - but after like a birthday party i use the helium balloons and jump up and try to hit them. The more you jump the better you'll be at it so when ever i go under a walk way in my house i jump up and try to touch the ceiling.

  2. I used to hit the ball at a brick wall. You have to aim down, practicing your wrist snap. Try to get the ball to hit perfectly between where the wall meets the ground, if you do it correctly, the ball will come right back to you for another hit.

  3. practice your approach. the approach that you do before you go to hit the ball. Left Right Left HIT!!!! just practice that over and over!

  4. What i do is when i walk around the house i practice my approach and swing my arm down as fast as possible and my body gets so immuned to it that i do 100% better hitting

  5. some of the things ive been taught to do is to constantly work on ur approach... with out this you have no hit...

another thing that my coaches have always taught us to do, especially during the off season is to take a beat up volleyball and just hit it up against a large wall... make sure to hit it down on the ground and let it bounce up and hit the wall...

this really helps me and if ur upset or stressed its a great way to blow off steam as well.

    hope this helps :)

  6. I don't set up our net at home, but instead I practice overhand serving over some hedges in our yard. I go in the middle of the road (when no cars are coming, of course), and stand behind a crack in the road or a line of tar, and try serving over the hedges. The hedges are about as tall as a net.

Another thing you can do is just take a ball and bump it, set it, and then spike it by yourself. It really does help. Or, you can serve it on to your roof, if your roof has an incline, and practice bumping and setting and spiking back on to the roof. Have fun!

  7. I'm on a Girls Volleyball team and what i usally do is take a ball a try hitting it stright up in the air! Then hitting it as it comes down differnt ways!     IT may work !!!!!!

  8. 1. You could take a tennis ball and throw it against a wall.

    2. You could take a volleyball and pepper with someone.

  9. when i had problems i usually just worked on my approach and getting the ball over by getting on top of it.

  10. i always hit against my garage door and am constantly approaching and touching my ceilings which are pretty high.  i stay in good shape too so im at the peak of my game and sometimes you can stay after practice and im sure ur coach would work on some things with you

  11. try to throw the ball parallel to a wall at home... it should be as close to the wall as possible. Try to contact it above your head where you normally hit. This will help you to get on top of the ball and make good contact with it as well.
