How to do this style...?

I know that there is straightening involved.

But I have really thick hair, and when I straighten it, it does not look the same.

Do I have to put gel, or mousse in it or something?

  1. try a voluming mousse, that will definitely help!

  2. There is no way you can straighten your hair without the proper products.

First of all - when shampoo and conditioning, leave almost all conditioner in your hair, seriously rinse hardly ANY out.

Use a frizz serum - I use Zero Frizz from Wal-Mart, bigger and cheaper than Frizz Ease.

Then apply mousse to every section before straightening.

You can also spray a leave-in conditioner on your hair while straightening.
