I can't find "antenna out" or "to tv" on it for a coax. cord. i only have a coax connection on the vcr that says "ant. in" for recording.

oh and i also have dish network, i want to record a movie.

  1. there's no video output for the tv.  try connecting the satellite receiver directly to the vcr using coax and then to the tv (either via coax or rca).  if the satellite doesn't have a coax out, try connecting rca from the box to a rf modulator then to vcr.. then from vcr to tv.

another option would be to check if the box you are using will be able to output to coax and rca/component at the same time. if this is the case, then you can have coax to vcr and rca/component to tv at the same time.

since the tv doesn't have video out. whichever connection you prefer, the signal would still have to be from the box to the vcr then the tv.  also, just a reminder on copyright protection =)
