How to dock a chihuahua's tail?

i want to know how to dock a chihuahua's tail. I know it's supposed to be done between 3-5 days after birth.

Since when have Chihuahua's ever had docked tails? NEVER. They never have and are NOT supposed to.

Chihuahuas dont have docked tails.  Leave the tails alone!

the vets I worked for insisted it be done between 24 and 72 hrs after birth.

I have never heard of anyone docking a chihuahuas tail.All the chihuahuas I have ever seen and I have 2,have long tails.
