How to down load powerpoint?

I have a mac and want to know how to download powerpoint

You can download the Power Point "Reader" from the Microsoft download site.  But if you need the complete program, it is part of Microsoft's Office suite.  I suppose you could download a trial version.  Other then that you would have to purchase Microsoft Office.

i had to buy my mine, it's the microsoft office: mac 2004 edition.  I got that in the store.  It has powerpoint, word, entourage, excel, and msn messenger all in one package.

Instead of downloading Powerpoint for Mac (which is not free), there are some interesting alternatives:

1. OpenOffice: It will read powerpoint presentations and allow you to create some:

2. iWork: it's the Apple answer to Microsoft Office. It comes with Pages (e.g. Word), Numbers (e.g. Excel) and Keynote (e.g. Powerpoint)
