first of all go to the app store in itunes and download the apps that you want or that you buy. then connect your ipod and go to the applications tab and put a check mark on all the apps that you want to sync and then at the bottom right corner click apply or sync.

I have one too and I just downloaded the Cannon Game this way. You browse apps, find one, download it,and then it will be in apps in your library, hit sync while your ipod is connected.

You can download the application on your computer through iTunes, then just connect your Touch and it'll automatically sync the apps you have checked (all are checked by default).

OR

You can download an application directly on your iPod if you have a wifi connection through the App Store app.

You have to be on the new 2.0 software by the way, which costs $10.
