You go to a torrent search site and find the content that you want.  Then you download a small file (the torrent) associated with the content.  When you open that torrent file in your bittorrent client, the transfer of the content will start.

easy, you just search ur music on a torrent site e.g. thepiratebay.org, the you click download this torrent after which you will download a file with a .torrent extension. right click on the file, go to open with, and choose ur bittorrent client. e.g. uTorrent, bitcomet, azereus etc.

tip:when downloading torrents, the more seeders and the less leechers, the faster it will download

^What Vlad said. Just go to a site like mininova.org and type what you're looking for in the search box. Click on what you want and then download the torrent file.
