How to download videos from Sony Snapshot to a CD Disc?

Hi, I have a Sony Snapshot Digital camera and have so many home videos on it but wish I could figure out how to put them on a disc and view it on a DVD player. I did copy to disc but you cannot view the videos which is weird...any advice?
