How to draw a square inside a pentagon?

I want to draw a square inside a pentagon(whose internal angles are same and all the sides are same in length).how can I do it?

  1. I would probably draw the circle that contains the pentagon and draw the square from there.  There must be a way to draw a square on a circle?  Or, wait a minute, isn't that a famous problem that can't be solved?

    Edit:  Hey Kat-Grl below, how can you prove that's a square?  Interesting answer.


  2. assume pentagon ABCDE

    If you start your square at A, next point would 1/4 BC, then 1/2 CD, then 3/4 DE, then back to A.

    I think that's the biggest square.
