I live in Chicago and have an interview at the Trump Hotel downtown. It is a luxury hotel but my position is as a gift shop cashier. I think i should dress formally, im thinking black dress pants, black heals, a long black tight shirt with a cute greyish jacket over it. I dont know if this is too dressed up, i dont want to show up there and be overdressed and look like an idiot, but i also dont want to be underdressed wither. please give me ur opinions on this or any advice?? thankksss

  1. A business suit is best.  What you are suggesting is a bit too informal.

  2. What you have in mind sounds appropriate.  It is much better to be overdressed than too informal. Look professional no matter what job you are going after. Good luck!
