How to dress up as a woman for Halloween?

For Halloween this year some female friends have dared me to crossdress as a woman for the day, so I am looking for advice on getting the best outfits. I need to wear a business suit for work in the daytime and a dress for a party at night. I need to look as realistic and attractive as possible so please help with any links to outfits or advice on accessories, make-up, hair, underwear even, anything I will need to look as good as I can to shock my friends as they don't think I will do it! I have a few weeks to get stuff ready so I want to make it good. 10 points for the best advice, thanks!

You and a female friend should go shopping.

You need to get your measurements.   You need to get some heels to practice daily in before the party.  

Depends on your body type get either a B cup or C cup bra.

First things first realize your grooming factor. Shaving will be crucial; no unibrows unless you are going as Frida Kahlo. Get a good foundation at a Macy's where they offer those makeovers; they will pick the right colors for your skin. Go try some outfits on and see what fits well. You are going to have to totally be into this to pull it off so don't be shy and be confident when you ask for help, you are going to need plenty of info from the department store staff. Go to a store that sells make up, such as Sephora and they will advise what goes best with your coloring. Enlist the aid of a female friend to teach you how to use it. you could probably buy some clothing and wig at a thrift store that would work great, and shoes, purse, jewelry. Old wedding or prom dresses can be very glam, or you could go as Mother Nature, pin a few birds in your hair, flowers, bugs, etc.

A party store, such as Party City would have complete costumes. They let you try them on first.
