How to drive a stand forklift?

I have a little experience and i have a paper test for a job. They know I have little experience. But i want to know what to expect on the paper test. I know there is a steering wheel and two levers; one to lift and and one to tilt. But more info would be most appreciative.

On the test, they will basically ask basics about standard fork height while traveling, which way to travel while in motion, that's going on ramps or in trailers, and other little safety measures you should know. The only time that your skills will be tested on is the driving part, this is where they will see just how much skilled you actually are. You will have to do the necessary inspection of the forklift, then maneuver the forklift, and then you will be asked to move a pallet from one position to another. And just remember that on a stand up forklift, most of the controls are all on one control stick while you steer with the wheel.

"KEY NOTE": Make sure you look at the forklift and test the controls carefully before just taking off!!

They will probably ask more about safety than how to drive it. When do you use one type of lift and when to use another.
