How to drop the ball when kicking with your non preferred foot?

how do you practice dropping the ball when kicking with your non preferred foot. i just cant seem to control it like i can when using my preferred one. at the last minute the ball always gets lopsided. help please!!!!

  2. if this is one of football north America`s soccer...well im 1 of the best players in my province for my age and i would if you're a goal keeper just drop it and kick but if not then just leave the ball on the ground and practice running on to the ball

  3. When I first started I dropped the ball with both hands. After a lot of practice I can now drop the ball with my left hand on the run, just practice and try to mimic what you do with your preferred hand

  4. It really is just a h**l of a lot of practice that's needed to get it right.

    Kick with your preferred and then try and do the exact same thing with your non-preferred and just keep doing that.  There's no real secret to it.

    But remember that in a match, you won't kick on your non-preferred from a mark or running straight ahead, so it's a good idea practicing when you are running on your non-preferred side after you get the basics right.
