Question:

How to dry clothes w/o dryer and keep their shape?

I've always washed clothes in the washing machine and dried them in the dryer with good results. But I'll be going on vacation to a place that doesn't have dryers, only washing machines. Is there a way to dry the clothes so that they'll retain their elasticity and shape? Last time I went to that place, I washed my clothes in the machine and hung them out to dry, but then they lost their elasticity/shape and became loose and flabby when I put them on; something I'm not used to. Thanks.

  1. Place a towel on the table and lay them out on the towel, takes a while but at least they don't lose the shape.

  2. As soon as they come out of the washing machine I would put them on hangers, pull them into shape and then hang up in shower or on a line to dry off. Best wishes. UK
