How to easily/simply remove old old contact paper from wall? ?

  1. Take a wet rag dampen the paper and peel it off with a putty knife or somthing with a fine point


  2. hair dryer to heat up what's left of the glue residue and peel it off in one strip!

  3. Try slicing it with a NEW razor blade carefully as not to slice the paneling. Spray it down with some ammonia mixed with water as you start to peel it off. You can clean the residue with some commercial orange (citrus)clean that comes in a gallon at home depot. I use it full strength for things like this.

  4. Pop off the trim and then just take the paneling and the contact paper off at the same time.  For some reason you want to keep the paneling then try warm soap and water to remove the paper.
