How to edit a picture?

How do i edit my picture to look like this:

i'm referring to the way Sarah Jessica Parker is. Every color is blocked out except for pink, so everything thats pink in that picture shows up, and everything else is black and white.

I have a macbook...what applications do i need and how do i do it?

Try the Gimp it is similar to Photoshop with the advantage of being  free.

you can actually do it on photobucket. Just use the editing and change the pic to black and white... then select advanced options and painted region. You can paint the items you want b/w... or you can make they entire pic b/w then select origional and paint things you want back into color.
