How to edit dvds to pc?

i want to know to how to edit a dvd with windows movie maker and i cant to need to convert the files? cause i recorded something off tv to my dvd recorder and want to put the dvd into my pc to edit how is that possible i think they are as vob files and ifos help!!

Well if you already have the files as VOB files then to to divxtodvd.com and download their easy dvd creator program *you get 3 free uses and if you like it buy it.. its very cheap and a very simple program to use...

its never failed me... just be sure you click on the hd to dvd if you already have the vob files, then find the vob files and click ok ok ok and it'll burn

Rip the DVD using HandBrake. Then MovieMaker can use it.
