I usually do much photo editing on my computer. However, this is done with programs that have a hefty price-tag on them and are for very advanced edits to the photos.

It looks as though you want a web browser based editing script of some kind. Although there are not many out there, http://www.picnik.com may be what you are looking for. It is fairly simple, web based, and free!
